Fees
Every swap through a movafun pool pays a total trading fee of 1.00% (100 bps). Each token’s launch liquidity is locked forever, and the fees collected by that locked position are split permanently: the token’s creator receives 0.70% (70 bps) of the volume traded against it, directly from the pool. The remaining 0.30% (30 bps) is split between the launch network and the protocol according to the network’s tier. Anyone can add liquidity to the same pool; that liquidity takes its own share of fees, so less volume trades against the locked position.
Network tiers
| Tier | Network share | Protocol share |
|---|---|---|
| standard | 0.00% (0 bps) | 0.30% (30 bps) |
| partner | 0.05% (5 bps) | 0.25% (25 bps) |
| network | 0.10% (10 bps) | 0.20% (20 bps) |
| premier | 0.15% (15 bps) | 0.15% (15 bps) |
A network’s share is set when a token launches and is written into that token’s fee splitter. Changing a network’s tier later does not change the split of any token already launched. Fee shares are a share of the fees the locked position collects, not a yield, a dividend, or a promise of income: if nobody trades a token, its fees are zero.
